We got this for our Yorkie. She wants to ride in the van so bad, that she is willing to come out in 10 temps to go shopping with us.
So we had to take every step we could to ensure her warmth. with out breaking the laws and bring her inside with us. Since the cold and snow has hit New Hampshire. Sweetie refuses to go out even to just the bottom front steps. She has her pee pads and she is happy with that. So no long walks outside.
we bought a car seat that is 2 inch thick form on all sides and bottom part has to be at least 10 inches thick. lined with pink leather on the outside and thick warm fur looking stuff on the inside. We have a blanket throw inside the van we double and put that on her. Then she wears a sweater with a coat over it. which was OK when it was in the 20's and 30's. Oh and we have let her hair grow out.
we now have added this bunny coat to her weather appearal. this is more than just a dob costume. it is lined with fleese and then has the bunny thick pink fur on the outside that is extra soft. wicked warm.
Sweetie can go with us on short runs, no longer than 30 minute wait outside. when we come back out we have checked her nose and feet to see if they are still warm. And they are very warm!!!!!
oh, and she hides herself underneath the red blanket until we get back

I was in love with this adorable outfit the second I saw it for my tiny 3lb yorkie for easter. It seemed affordable and it is prime eligible which would ensure I got the product in time for easter. I carefully followed the measurement procedures and bought a small, the outfit JUST BARELY fits. The other MAJOR downside of this product is a heavy chemical smell on the product. I would love to wash it but I'm afraid it will shrink to nothing. I wish there was time for them to send me a medium but I really don't think it makes sense by now. For the price, I guess I got what I paid for but I would've appreciated more photos, or instead of stressing to measure perfectly- perhaps the seller could explain that this is an outfit made for SMALL AND TEACUP sized dogs to begin with. Even still, I found it hard to believe my 3lb yorkie would be a medium according to the measurements I made. I also ordered another piece of clothing from a different seller and different brand and had no issues with strange stench or such extreme size differences :( You can see the sizing better in the second picture. I think..... She's a very sleepy yorkie

Cute outfit, however, if you base buying according to the size chart, you will be sadly disappointed. My chihuahua has a 15" inch back. I wasn't sure it would fit lengthwise so I ordered XL. The chart for the XL says 13" back. When it came - she was drowning in it. ;(

There is a picture to show how to measure your dog above,please check it. 2.Your baby usually wears size S doesn't mean all size S will fit him/her. You looked at one size chart and found that your dog is a size small. But that doesn't mean he/she is a size small for all the clothes. Different designers and manufacturers use their own size charts. So the measurements given in a size SMALL by manufacturer "A" will be a size XS in manufacturer B's size chart. Don't buy a particular size because that is what you always buy in a pet shop or online store. Always look at the size chart for chest girth and length and confirm the size before you commit to buy. 3.If any of the measurements are 'between' two sizes, choose the larger size. If your measurements are toward the upper end of the range given for a particular size, you may also want to choose the larger size, as you may also wish to do for heavily coated dogs to accommodate all that fur. 4.Take each measurement a bit loosely.
