About the Author

I believe that my mission is to add value, connect and inspire those that read my books. I grew up in a working class Irish Catholic family living with both parents and two siblings. As a shy and introverted person I spent a lot of my time creating either music or writing short stories. This was my way of releasing my creativity, but fell into a career that didn't utilise these hidden talents. I left home to pursue a University degree in Finance and entered the profession. Feeling unsatisfied and empty in this profession I again began writing articles on self-development, travels and life experiences in my 30's. After enjoying my experience of travelling to Germany, Berlin I took the plunge to live there for 5 years. Now I'm living between London and Berlin the two cities I am inspired by. When not pounding away at the keyboard working on a new book or project you can find me enjoying the culture and arts of the city I am in at the time. I am also very much involved in community projects such as gardening projects.

This book talks about how to teach your puppy/dog to have good behavior. This guide book also teaches us how to train a puppy the easy, fun and cheap way. It is true that the best person to train a puppy is the dog owner himself. So, I will definitely start to follow all the tips and techniques given in this book to train my new puppy! This is going to be fun! :-)

I wouldn't really call this book, More like a pamphlet. I finished reading this on my 15 minute break at work. There was no real depth to it at all.

The whole book consisted of 22 pages (large font on my iPad) which go on to talk about what I consider common sense.

I know nothing about dogs, I've never owned one. This book was not really helpful at all. I'm glad it was only $3.00

I'm really not sure what these other reviews are on about. This pamphlet (not a book) reads like a 5th grade essay about dogs and really didn't say much... "how to crate-train your dog: put him in his crate until he's learnt to be ok with it". It's full of spelling and grammatical errors and while it purified a little inspiration for topics to research, it offers very little helpful information of its own.

I recently picked up a puppy Golden Retriver (Max).. as with most people I had a little too much enthusiam and did not prepare very well. I purchased this short guid which had a great overview of what I needed in order to prepare.. both the house (crates etc) and myself (being the Alpha Dog)..

The idea of the Alpha dog takes some getting used to.. Max was all cute and cuddly and I just wanted to play with him.. whilst as the book recommends.. I needed to take a firm stand..

I like how the book starts the headers 'how to'.. and scales in difficulty whereby the easy ones are first and more difficult later (as you get used to them).

Overall a greatshort guide telling you the essentials of what you need to know to get started

This is the perfect guide especially for the one like me who don't want to bother calling someone to train my own dog. I'd like to do it for myself because why not? If I can, then I'll do it. This book particularly has been amazing and a great help to me. I've been through a lot of books just to train my puppy to act in the way I'd like her to act. I am just really appreciative for the content of this book for which it is really made simple to understand and nothing is better than having a book with great content and with an affordable price. Couldn't have been perfect.

I'm well acquainted with dogs and was looking to brush up on my puppy training. But this was not a guide. More like a list of command you can eventually teach a dog.

What a ripoff this [Pamphlet] is I purchased it for a friend who is getting his first dog and I am ashamed to give it to him!

This book was helpful and informative. The information on separation anxiety was worth purchasing the book on it's own! Very well written, short and easy to use a reference. I think it is the perfect book for someone with a new puppy because it gives you the basics but no so much information that you are overloaded!
