My dog has black toenails so cutting them is difficult for me. PediPaws is a great alternative to bleeding toes and these replacement filing heads work well. They fit my grinder and are easily replaced. They don't last very long but that's probably to be expected. Being able to buy them in quantity is good. I would buy them again.

This review is not for the PediPaw it's self but more about the replacement pieces.
I had bought the PediPaw earlier to try it and worked wonderfully and the dogs that I used it on
did not mind it at all so eventually I needed more of the replacement pieces.
It is important not to keep the same one on for to long 'cause then it causes discomfort for the dog.
So I ordered more piece with not trouble at all, delivery was on time, the cost is just right and I continue
to use the PediPaw and I have bought replacements several times without any trouble at all and it has been over
eight years without any trouble.

When I originally bought the PediPaws, it came with an order sheet for the refills but I lost it somewhere along the way. It's convenient to find the refills on here rather than trying to track down a place that sells them. Just like most other things made to replace things that wear out, these do too. Only these wear out faster than you can replace them. Cheap glue bonds the sand grit to the paper, so that comes off fairly quick. The paper isn't the same as the original, either. When the glue wears off along with the sand grit, the paper begins to shred after starting out new and just barely finishing the first foot. That is probably why there are so many in the package. The original felt like 80 grit and these feel like 100 or 120 grit, taking longer to do a toenail and wearing out prematurely because of it. I would rather but a whole new Doggy Nail Filer with new sanding wheels, or even buy some good 80 grit sand paper, cut out the strips just like the old ones I remove from the wheel, a can of 3M spray on Contact Cement, and restore the used wheels than buy these cheap replacements again. If you are crafty, or capable (it's really easy.) I am doing that now with all these extra wheels I have quite an inventory of long lasting sanding wheels for actually less money than if I bought them all again.

But my dog has to be done at least once a month which is $120 a year. These heads are a savings of about $355. More importantly, my dog freaks out when strangers try to touch her. It's very stressful for her. She's OK when I do the filing. So, this tool is about more than the money. I highly recommend PediPaws!

Its an okay product. Truthfully, I do not feel as if it was really worth the 15 bucks. The material is a little on the cheap side and it was a struggle to get the case on. The volume and power button are a little hard to push down upon. And theres really no lip to protect the face of the phone. Color is true to description which is a plus and it got here on time. I have not tried out the card holder yet so no review on that.

Love using these on my dogs

Love using these on my dogs. They have hard, thick, black nails. I've clipped too far down in the past causing the quick to bleed, making my oldest (15 y/o lab) nervous for nail trimming. With these, it's painless, they don't shred, or cut too deep.
Only cons are first the smell. Fur around the paws and nails can smell like it's burning on the sandpaper.
Second con is the wheels wear down fast on harder nails. You have to change them out faster.
Lastly, changing them with a screw driver and being careful to not strip the head of the driver.
Other than that these are awesome for dogs that hate nail trimming. One piece of advice, when you purcy allow your pet to become used to the tool sound and then vibrations first. Introduce it slowly and friendly. Then slowly introduce it to the paw without doing the nails. This helps the pet become comfortable with the sound and feeling of it.
