    While this book does provide some relevant information for new puppy owners, the directions and opinions are unfiltered and VERY commanding, it's unprofessional. Many of the directions/opinions are up for debate and I wouldn't use this as my go to for any new canine in my home. This did however give me a good idea for puppy information to keep on hand and document. So 2 stars.

    Tim Carter has put a lot of thought into this book and speaks with a voice of authority on the topic including even the little things that many might forget about such as covering outlet plugs and preventing the family's new fido from chewing through power cords.
    Throughout the years, many dogs have taken possession of me as owner and of course I thought I knew it all. Never even occurred to me there was such a thing as a holistic vet.
    This book contains some very sound advice and well worth the price.
