    My new shoes arrived six days ahead of time. When I took them out of the box, they seemed longer than I expected, but when I compared them to my old Spalding sandals, they were only a little longer. I removed the packing from inside the one for my right foot which has always been the problem foot, loosened the two straps, and slipped them on. It certainly felt different to secure the straps with new Velcro as opposed to the worn out Velcro on my old pair. I put the other shoe on and began walking in them. I broke them in with a walk to and from the nearby Walmart Neighborhood Mart and the feel was just as I had hoped. And the fit? Perfect and well worth the $50 they cost me.

    These are very good sandals which are hard to find in my size (14 Extra wide). I will say after walking all day on the boardwalk in Atlantic City for two days the padding of the sandals were pretty much shot. But they can still be worn comfortably for trips to the beach and such.

    I have a degree of neuropathy in both feet so have to be VERY careful with footwear - it must be comfortable and offer protection to my feet. For years I have found it problematic to find sandals which meet these criteria. But with a European summer holiday planned I didn't want to be forced to wear runners all the time.
    I bought these sandals as a "last hope" and am totally over the moon with them already (and we've not even left home yet!). They are simply SUPERB. Comfortable, perfect fitting and offering good protection all round. I can wear them all day and yet barely know I have them on. And - they look great WOW.

    My only complaint is that the front strap is too short. My feet are not deformed and yet I can just barely get the opposing sides of the Velcro to meet and hold when my foot is properly positioned in the shoe.

    The last pair of sandals I purchased was a $20 pair from Bass Pro and those gave me nearly five years of use before starting to show signs of needing to be replaced. I bought these Hush Puppies sandals last March for $60 and they already starting to fall apart. Two of the plastic clips that the velcro bands slide through have snapped in half on one sandal and the stitching is starting to unravel on the other sandal. The really messed up thing is I only wear sandals around my house so it's not like they see rough terrain or anything, just carpeted and wooden floors! I learned my lesson: expensive is not always better. Stick with what you know works!

    These were for my son, who wanted a brown pair of sandals, and it is hard to find size 15 that looks nice at a good price. These weren't a bad price, although I like to get them cheaper, but that is just me. He loves them, and is wearing them right now, and says they are really comfortable. I have gotten him Hush Puppies brand shoes in the past, and he always likes them. Good comfort and good looking.
