    Bought this for my cat, I figured the front would be enamel but I was hoping for engraving on the back for durability's sake. Some of the paint got scratched off just putting it on the little loop to put onto the collar. Then more after she tried to play with it. Maybe it'd work better for dogs.

I got the small size which is probably more for a cat but I didn't want anything big rubbing on my Bichon's fur because it's white. I also bought the silencer which I find as a nice added protection.

    You can't beat this company for dog tag IDs. In fact, though I have not purchased their tags for other uses, I am sure they are wonderful for luggage, etc. My female Chihuahua is "cute but...YOU CAN'T HAVE" her....she is darling and so is the tag. Well made, engraving looks like it will not scratch off readily, and the company gets a lot of information on a tiny tag. I have talked by phone with their personnel and they are accommodating, and great to work with.
