The jacket is very well made. I have the XS for my 6 pound dog. He knows how to swim but this keeps him from getting too tired and gives me relief knowing that he's safe. The handle on the top works great for picking him up and handling him. He doesn't seem to dislike it. It doesn't ride up on him. The strap around the throat/chest area stays put. It's a great fit for my pup!

No Odie, you can't walk on water
I am so glad I bought this. I took my wee dachshund Kayaking on the May 24 long weekend, and he tried to walk on water. He did not know about lakes. Luckily, he was wearing his vest and was tethered to my paddle,, so I just pulled him back aboard. He was cold, wet and scared, but safe.Aina FerrisNo Odie, you can't walk on water
