- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2015These are fantastic. I have owned several pairs of the now discontinued, copper frameless sunglasses. My dog will not wear the goggles version, I think they are just too heavy. I have a male 49 lb Border Collie and the medium works very well. At first I thought they were too big but adjusted almost all the way down, they are perfect.
***other reviews complain about the lens falling out, but I believe I understand why that happened. The lens have a single attach point at the bridge. The rest of the lens slips into the flexible frame with notches on the edges that snap into the frame. When I received them the lens was not "snapped" into the flexible frame at the edges. I easily snapped the edges in and they are solid. So, check them before you put them on your dog.*****
Pros: they wrap around the edges which protects the eyes from the sides.
They are large enough to protect from reflection at the top, when a dog holds head down, the sun beams into the eyes, these do a nice job of protecting against this.
Cons: They seem to arrive with the lens not in place. Must check and adjust for this issue.
Overall, extremely happy and they protect so well.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2015These look great and I get compliments all the time... people actually want to stop me and take pictures with him. I had a cop break laws just to get his car closer so you could see him... That being said there are flimsy pieces of crap I used to own the old version of these made out of metal and they lasted for a year and a half. So one day well I slammed on the brakes when he wasn't wearing a seatbelt and his head hit the dashboard and there they go. Actually didn't break bad at all, they broke where the metal have been "welded" (probably glued ) but I couldn't get them back together. I decide to buy these.
The design seems better he actually enjoys wearing them a lot more than the old pair but the lenses scratch Way way too easy. In fact he was only out of my sight for maybe two minutes on the first day I got him and he went and scratched him on a bush and pulled one of the flimsy plastic corners out and stripped the screw. So I bought another pair in a slightly smaller size. And back to the same rules as before: he only gets to were them riding in the car... but they still look great and I still get compliments on them all the time.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2015Size: XX-SmallVerified PurchaseThese tiny glasses are just adorable. My little guy (3 mon., 2 lb., Maltipoo puppy) got used to them the second day. They fit him great & are comfy & he still has some room to grow in them. The morning that I got them, I let him investigate them & treated him, then I put them on him for a couple min. & treated him a lot. A couple hours later I did the same thing but added a short trip outside + a little play time while he had them on (I just distracted him by calling his name or with a toy or treat whenever he would fuss with them). I repeated this again in the evening + he practiced his obedience training & ate & drank while wearing them. The next day he didn't mind at all when I put them on & we went for a walk & to play at the park, he came home & drank water & was about to nap with them on but I took them off, he didn't mess with them once & has been wearing them fine ever since. I highly recommend the Doggles glasses, they are good quality & seem pretty sturdy, I will definitely be buying these again when & if needed.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2016Size: X-SmallVerified PurchaseI am very impressed w/quality and design/style, however my Maltese is not as taken w/them as I am.....hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Tried goggles before but on a long haired dog the goggles smashed/bunched hair behind lens that he couldn't see. The design of these are so much superior to goggles as they sit on face like human glasses (there's space between the lens and his eyes). They look like mini Oakleys! I'm hopeful that in time he will adjust. He's 15lbs but his face is not wide so size small is a perfect fit. My 18lb Min Pin will wear them slightly longer than the Maltese so there's hope for both of them! Maybe when the Min Pin is ready they will be available in black. Again kudos for great product, you won't be disappointed!

I worked with my pup for a good amount of time with rewards for temporarily leaving them on. He acted normal (like he was going to leave them on) for a minute, so I reached for my phone to take a picture and in that split second he swatted them off his face and they broke. The lens came out (per design) but on the way out damaged the area where you slip the lens notch back into the frame. I tried to get them to work again, but the damaged frame would not hold the lens anymore after that.
I could tell the nose piece was too small/arched and therefore did not fit on my dogs face correctly. In addition, the frame made contact with my dog's face right at the top of the eye/lower eyebrow, so I knew they probably weren't very comfortable.
I wrote this review to try to help someone else from wasting their money. These k9 optix glasses are plain terrible and I don't foresee a situation where they would fit any dog.
I've since purchased a different pair of dog goggles and my pup had absolutely no problem with them. Actually, he nudges and asks me to put them back on after I take them off so he must like them. I would highly recommend the second pair of dog goggles I bought, "PETLESO Large Dog Goggles". The photo attached is the good pair of dog goggles I bought after these k9 optix glasses met the trash can.
1.0 out of 5 starsTerrible quality. I would leave 0 stars if it were an option.Waste of money. There are better dog goggles out there!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2016Size: LargeVerified PurchaseDidn't fit well at all-I could see where the glasses almost touched my dog's eyes. I have a 2 year old German shepherd who was recently diagnosed with pannus and I purchased these hoping to help block some UV rays when we play outside. Unfortunately these are just like a regular pair of sunglasses and without a hat they allow sunlight directly into my pup's eyes. They look cool but for they didn't work for UV protection. They aren't really adjustable either. Just not a good product for actual use on my active pup.

4.0 out of 5 stars cooles Teil
