The Lineage snood shares the same argyle pattern as the Lineage hats, harnesses and sweater. This is the perfect accessory for dogs with long ears. A snood is a combination of a scarf and hood, usually in a tubular shape. A dog snood is used on breeds that have long droopy ears. It can hold the ears back and away from the food bowl, keeping the ears dry and healthy. It can also be used as an outdoor accessory, as it can provide protection to the neck against cold winds from the winter months. It can also work as a cone, preventing dogs from scratching their ears and causing ear infections. Available in Orange, Brown and Navy in sizes ranging from small to extra-large. Please note that because these products were created with small/medium dog breeds in mind, larger sizes (i.e. Large, Extra-Large, etc.) do not necessarily mean larger breeds. Please refer to image of the size chart. As a general rule of thumb, if your dog falls in between sizes, it is usually better to go up a size. Weight figures are for estimates only. Always use actual measurements.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Love the entire Puppia line. I use this on my puppy who absolutely hates the snow and growls at the cold air. It keeps the air off his face and out his ears. The colors are attractive and the product is simply cute.
My dog is such a wimp in the northeast cold. I measured him and he was roughly 13" around the neck and in front of the ears. The snood did slide down after my dog walked in it and did a few shakes, but I'd say it's the right size for him. If you didn't notice from the pictures, there's ruching on the underside, which I think is a nice touch for fit. The only downside is that it's not that warm, I wish there was some sort of lining.
