Customers report that the collar effectively stops barking when the dog hears the beep. However, the functionality receives mixed feedback, with some saying it works well while others report it doesn't work at all or stops working within a day. Moreover, the collar buzzes for no reason and customers find it too big for smaller dogs like Pomeranians. Additionally, the battery doesn't last long, the instructions are lacking in explanation, and customers say it scares their dogs even more. The value for money also receives mixed reviews, with some finding it good while others say it's not worth the cost.

I bought this for intermittent use on my cat. It was nice to find an option that will work without causing any pain- I am definitely not interested in that. My cat is a bengal and is extremely vocal in the morning and in the evening when he's bored and my dog won't play with him. He is just not satisfied with attention from his human family, and I can't force my dog to pay him attention. I have used this collar for about a day and a half, and I have already seen quite the improvement. It doesn't stop him completely from making noise, but he does seem to be making the connection between his crazy-loud meowing, and the correction he feels right away. So far, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and am glad I went with this one.
This collar works great for a short time. I bought two, one for each of my mini dauchsunds who bark at everyone and everything. They both stopped working within about a week of one another. On one, the beeping started alarming at a constant sound and wouldn't stop. I tried replacing the battery, it did the same thing. The other just stopped working at all. I replaced the battery as well and still nothing. The return period is 30 days. The collars lasted about 45 days. When they worked, both dogs definitely barked less. They did get to where they would tolerate the beeping and the buzzing more and more, but overall barked much less. Not happy that I'm stuck with these items that don't work and they quit working just outside of the return policy window. For this reason I will give 1 star.
I'm not completely sure if it is pure coincidence or this thing actually works, but we have a small dog and live in an apt building in the city. When she hears anyone loud outside or enter the main building, she barks. This is great for those days when she seems to bark at everything-- I just put it on and she seems to get the hint. The only complaint that I have is sometimes I hear it go off for no reason. Our dog could be walking down the hallway and I will hear it beep. The manual said this could be because it's not tight enough, and I try to adjust it but I don't think I can make it any tighter and still be able to buckle it around her neck.
I really wanted this to work and I bought it because of all the good reviews but it doesn't do the job for my shih tzu puppy. I can hear it beeping and my puppy is not responding at all . He is barking as I type this. I live in a condo surrounded by neighbors and have been getting complaints. This was a total waste of money and huge disappointment
I was looking for a bark collar to try to get my Jack Russell puppy out of the nasty habit of barking in the back yard when things went by the fence. I dont like using shock collars so I figured this would be a good substitute. I tested this on my hand before putting it on him and activated it by yelping near by the collar. The vibrate is almost identical to that of my iPhone vibrating. Satisfied that it wouldn't hurt him I place it around his neck. It seemed to work for the first day but after that he ended up completely ignoring the collar. Not only that the sensitivity buttons that change what sets off the collar keep getting changed by him when he puts his head down. another glaring issue is I have a metal tag around his other collar and seems to jingle a bit when he runs, so whenever he runs around (which for a jack Russell puppy is all the time) it sets off the collar. There are even times when him chewing on a toy sets off the collar.
We purchased this collar because we have a dachshund that was constantly barking at the tv. We tried everything to get her to stop barking with no luck. This collar works great. We only leave it on the coffee table and it beeps if she starts barking. We dont even need to put it on her neck. She immediately stops barking when she hears the beep.
This collar did not help my rat terrier at all. If we set it up to the most sensitive setting it would beep if she jumped off the couch, sneezed or shook her head. So we would lower the sensitivity setting and it wouldn't register her barking at all so she would continue to bark and drive me nuts. Just today I noticed the batteries are dying after only about a month of use. At this rate I would need an better every month for a collar that doesn't even work. Maybe it would work better for a less vocal, headstrong breed like a terrier.
We purchased a pair of these for our two chihuahuas because we lived in an apartment complex and they were barking. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. The one thing I found out is that it really depends on the dog how they may react to it. One of our dogs was completely mortified at the least bit of vibration and would be shamed into being quiet immediately. The other would make noise and just shrug it off for the most part.
