Perfect size for a Cat.
I bought this for my silver domestic medium hair, Gemma, who is a very messy eater. It is indeed non-tip in my experience and is not as bulky as other bowls that have non-tipping features. The coating on it also seems to be holding up well.

    My veterinarian recently told me to switch to wet food, and I have five greedy, food-grubbing cats. To make sure I distributed fair portions, I bought five of these bowls.

    They look in real life just like they do in the picture: the light pink is really attractive and bright. Overall, these bowls are very sturdy and easy to clean. The enamel is strong and hasn't worn off after hundreds of uses, and the rubber grips rimming the base of each bowl keep the bowls from sliding too around my kitchen. The grips come off occasionally, but it's easy to slip them back on. Also, they stack, so if you want to get multiple bowls, it's very easy to store them. As for portion size, you can fit about 7 ounces, or two large cans (cat-size. not dog-size) of food in it very easily. These bowls are super sturdy, as well as a great value.

    I really love these bowls for my baby kitten. They're the perfect size for her. They also match gold bowls we previously bought for our dog. I was nervous the gold coloring would be too different but it ended up looking like the color pictured.

    She plays with literally everything, so the non stick black bottom is super helpful to deter her from having too much fun trying to knock these upside down or running across them when she's playing.

    This is a very nice little bowl. It's well-made and sturdy, and I love that it comes in so many colors. The non-skid bottom is a great feature. My dogs don't try, but I would think the most rambunctious puppy would have a hard time tipping it over, due to the great design. My one issue is that it is smaller than I expected. It's very small, actually. I purchased two of the the 1-cup size bowls, because I have small dogs. The larger of my two dogs gets 1/2 cup of food at each feeding, and it actually piles up in the bowl, with some kibble spilling over. I'm assuming the 1-cup capacity must be a wet 1-cup measurement, but personally, I would never purchase this size of bowl for water. This bowl would be good for a cat or very small puppy, and perhaps for wet food.

    I absolutely love these dog dishes. They are quite durable. I have had other stainless dog bowls that have developed rust, etc. We have very hard water in our area, so I only feel the need to replace them when the rubber ring wears out and/or it starts to lose its shine from the hard water (I'm pickier than most, I would suspect). The rubber ring tends to wear out before the dish does, naturally, but since I feed my dogs on a nonskid mat, it tends to not be a problem.

    I rarely leave a review. I first became aware of this product years ago. My daughter bought two bowls when they first started and she still has them today. I have to venture to guess that the production of these bowls has been changed and these current bowls are totally disappointing. I ordered 8 of them. Close to $100.00 spent on pure crap. Within one feeding one dog chewed the coating right off and damaged the bowl. Okay, dogs can be destructive. I threw it way and gave that dog a non colored stainless steel bowl. Over the last few days, the remaining bowls have all kinds of blemishes, looking like water stains and discoloration. One of the bowls popped off a plastic coating that was red (See photo below). My dog was getting ready to eat the plastic. I dont want my dog ingesting plastic. Overall I should return these and get my money back, I did not realize they were all subpar or I would have kept the one my dog destroyed too so I could have repacked this and returned it. I dont have the time or the motivation to do this. The vendor should step up to the plate and stop selling this item. They should offer to refund the money. Shame on Platnium Pets for making and selling this product. It's basically stealing money from people.

    These bowls are made in China and then powdered coated in USA, at least that is what I was told when I called. I have loved them and used them for years never worrying thinking they were USA made. But then with age and use they started chipping. So that means my dogs/cat are eating/drinking from China made materials. I prefer to buy USA made eating items for the entire family including the pets. I had an issue and called customer service. The young girl was not knowledgeable, and I grew frustrated..I will use this until my new bowls come that are made completely in USA of 18/8 food grade stainless steel. Unfortunately I threw away 8 of the other bowls. Like I said I used to really like the product, until I learned these facts.
