I bought this for a cat just under 10 pounds and it works great. Has a "crinkle" sound that kitty was suspicious of at first, but he warmed up quickly and now goes shooting through the tunnel during playtime. Plasticy-fabric is a little thin, we see some claw marks already. I cut off all the straps and dangly bits since our cat tends to chew. The holes on top are great for periscope-cat and help keep him from feeling trapped. The color is accurate to the picture, a cheerful bright light blue with white/yellow/green stripes. It is nice and LONG so check your space measurements! We leave it out behind the couch and that works great for us. Kitty enjoys the extra playspace.
Fantastic toy for our puppies. They love to run through it, sleep in it, roll over it, pop out of the holes in it, chew on it, and tug at the ties and tassels in it. Has been a huge it. When we bought it we had no idea if they'd like it or not. My better half opined they'd never go in it. But the price wasn't that high, we didn't need it to last forever, and we thought their eventual home might want to do some agility training, so we gave it a try. Worked out great. They use it all the time, both inside and outside.
Keep in mind the tunnel is not that high. Our pups are now between 4 and 5 pound and they have plenty of room. For an adult dog this is likely too small.
I have a 6 pound Frenchie/Boston mix puppy who is a holy terror. He loves to run and get into everything. This tunnel has been a great addition to his growing collection of toys. He dives in and out of the holes and chews the heck out of it. It has stood up to his abuse! It folds up nicely when it needs to be put away.
I bought this for my little 5 pound maltipoo, who is about the size of a cat. It is obviously made for cats because there were two little puffballs with bells that were dangling inside. I cut those balls out and waited for my pup to get used to it and maybe actually go in. Didn't have to wait long. He loves to run through it and pop his head out the holes. He loves it when I play "Whack-a-Mole" with him. He runs in and hides between the two holes, thinking I can't see him, when he's doing something naughty, like shredding paper. He gets in there and makes himself as small as he can when it's bedtime and he has to go in his crate. He drops his toys in the holes and then runs in after them. Sometimes he gets in it and then makes it role over until the holes are on the side and then he comes out of the hole. He likes that it is so lightweight and he can get his little terrier nose under it and flip it around. For the money, this is one of the best toys I've gotten for my dog. Of course it only works if your dog is small enough to run through it. Cats should love it too. It also has ties to fasten it flat for storage. Haven't used those yet, maybe won't anytime soon. Too much fun!
This arrived today and kept both the puppy and I entertained for the better part of an hour. She loved the balls attached to the elastic and trying to drag the tube around the room. My Shih tzu is 11 weeks old/3.5 lbs and fits inside easily. I suspect that she will need the next diameter up by the time she is full grown. Great entertainment for the price.
Our dog is only 6 pounds and he was too tall for this tunnel. It would be fine for a ferret and maybe a teacup sized dog but our smaller than normal sized toy poodle was too big.
My bunny is very destructive lately, my carpet looks like a mess now, but this tunnel is made of durable material, she scratches and bites it and she can't destroy it! I might buy a second one so she can go behind the couch without me having to worry she will tear everything apart. Also, it came earlier than expected!
