I got an a one day old orphan kitten and the bottles at the feed store here are too big so I use a syringe I ordered this and omg this is the greatest thing ever it’s soft so they can suck it and works great.the bottle in photo is way to big this is Perfect
Best system for feeding orphaned kittens...hands down! This holds 2 tbsp of formula and a little bit more, and while some have complained it drips out too easily, simply hold it right side up to prevent that problem. It's easily cleaned and comes with its own small cleaning brush and a small cup to hold the formula. I find a large syringe works well to fill it, but that's my personal preference. Others have complained the directions are written in Chinese. Who cares? This system is so easy to use, you do NOT need directions! I've noticed there are only 3 left to order and just 2 weeks ago, there were 14 in stock. I plan on snatching up the last 3, as the ONLY ISSUE I have with this system is that I can't seem to find any replacement nipples. I accidentally left one where my older kittens could get it and they chewed it up, leaving me with just one nipple. I ordered another kit right away, but now I see that having 3 or 4 of these kits is worth the cost, just so you have extra nipples! Yes, that's how much I love this system! Beats the Pet Ag bottles and nipples you get at pet store a million times over!
I do not recommend this product. When you siphon milk into the syringe, milk flows into the plunger. You have to press the plunger to get milk to flow back into the syringe. You have to do this repeatedly. Pain in the butt and you have to be careful and not drown the pup with milk in the process. The only good I got out of this kit were the nipples, which will fit on the tip of a standard child medicine syringe, available at your local drug store for few dollars.
A standard syringe is much easier to use than this cheaply made and poorly thought out product. The nipples aren't a must, but do give the pup something soft to suck on instead of the hard tip of the syringe.
Another thing that bugged me about this product is there is NO English on the packaging. Only Chinese symbols.
This product was alright. Came with everything shown. Milk/formula comes out from this too easily, though, which proved to be an issue with the puppy I was using this one.
I had a litter of 7 boxer puppies, 4 had to be hand fed after they were 3 weeks old. I bought two they worked great, no cuts or tender areas on puppies mouth. Finger handles make presentation of the nipple easier and the bellows pump makes for fast and reliable loading and unloading of formula. I am back to order more for my next litter.
Bought this to feed baby squirrels that had their home destroyed. Did NOT work for this purpose! Squirrel aspirated milk because it allows too much milk to come out at a time. Great idea, just did not work for tiny squirrels. Company was great to work with, money refunded due to issues I had with product.
This is the 2nd one i have bought the first one got eaten by his mommy so i had to go back to the bottle. The bottle was harder to keep track of how much he was eating with Mkono bottle I know exactly how much he is eating and it takes half the time to feed him. It did take a little bit to get use to but I fill the pump part and then slid the top over the bulb and it keeps from making a mess.
UPDATE as my puppy got a little over a week older I had to remove the white tip part from the bottle part as he was pulling off the nipple, I just installed the nipple where the big white front tip was and it stayed on great.
I had been trying to get a feeding system down for an orphaned newborn for several days when I found this system. Trying to syringe feed her was literally causing my right hand to have carpal tunnel. This is the best thing I've tried, hands down. It comes with a little measuring cup for you to suck the formula up from, two nipples, a brush, syringe, and a secondary tip that fits onto the syringe for when the kitten is older. She now eats about a full syringe of food, purring the whole time, enjoying a nice full, no air in the tummy feeding. It's super easy on your hands. It does have a tendency to leak after the initial fill, but it's easily stopped by (duh) placing the tip of your finger on the nipple and just carrying it upright. It fully breaks down into individual pieces for cleaning, and cleans very easily with a little hot water.
This is the best thing that has happened to our little kitten. She's now happiest when she's eating. Couldn't recommend this more!
Used this product for a 4 week baby kitten that did not want to drink from a bottle nor pan. I didn't use the nipple shield, just applied the nipple directly to the syringe. I like that it has pre-poked holes in the nipples so you don't have to try to cut them with scissors. I like that the nipple and syringe bulb come off for easy cleaning. This is a great product and has helped my baby kitten get the calories he needs!
I like the syringe design. The nipples provided are nice and soft. Problem is the nipple holes are too big. When syringe is full of milk formula it drips out of the nipple. Easy to clean.
