After reading several reviews I was hesitant to order these for my Shibas. However I do believe it just takes some getting use to. I did think the file was a little big at first but that's bc I've never really filed my dogs nails. However after the first paw it was a breeze! Both of my Shibas fell asleep while filing and it didn't take no time at all! I do use a metal human file as well but the sizes are comparable and it wasn't as fast as this one! Would recommend if you have the patience to get the hang of it! Probably wouldn't be good for Yorkies or other small dogs like that!
