Very good value for the money
Very good value for the money. Fits my Belgian Shepherd perfectly. I loaded it up with the contents of my purse and a water bottle. The pack rode perfectly and did not slip from side to side as other packs do. My dog did not show any signs of discomfort when walking with pack fully loaded. My only concern is that the material used is light weight. Since this will be used for hours each day for service dog work, I hope it holds up.

This is great for giving your dog a workout. My AmStaff is full of energy, but when I put this on her with about 10 pounds of weight, she slows down appreciably. It doesn't seem to bother her at all, but she is happy to heel rather than pulling at the leash. You could put a six pack in here and the further she walked, the lighter her load would be. Win win. The quality seems fine and it is holding up well. My dog is 55 pounds but with a pretty big chest and this fits well - maybe very slightly loose but it doesn't slip around. I would recommend this to buy.

I wish Amazon allowed fractions. This backpack is almost perfect. I was a little hesitant to purchase it, because it is shipped from China. However, I'm glad I did. This is a really good product and a decent price. The inside of the pockets is lined and all of the seams are finished with trim. All sewing with one exception is perfect. The imperfection is on the underside, so it's not noticeable. The zippers work really well. It does have that fresh-from-China chemical odor, so I'll hang it outside and wait for it to dissipate. All of the areas that touch the dog on the underside are padded, so if you carry cold or hard/pokey items, the padding will protect the dog.

My dog is 65 pounds and I ordered the large because other reviews mentioned it runs small. Well, I had to adjust the straps to the smallest point, but it does fit nicely. I'd think a large size would fit a pretty large dog as the adjustments are ample....probably an extra four inches on each strap. I appreciate the top carrying strap too as I'll take the backpack off at the dog park and this strap will make it easy to carry.

Oh, many of the bad reviews are from people who connected a leash to the backpack D-ring. When their out-of-control dog pulls, the backpack rips. Hey...don't connect a leash to a backpack. Dogs should be controlled by their collars.

Measured our 8 month old husky puppy for a good fit and had to choose between M and L because she is in between. Went with a L and it's way to big. Hope she grows into it but will use it on another dog so it won't collect dust.

This backpack carries about 15 pounds at most of my dog’s own supplies. He carries a 32oz nalgene when water isn’t available. On the other side he carries about five pounds of kibble plus treats. We don’t strap it too tightly around him (65 pounds) but it has never rubbed him even approaching a blister, and he’s used it for the past year. The dog definitely doesn’t like to carry a heavy pack on leash but clearly doesn’t feel the least bit constrained by the pack off leash though he gets stuck between trees and hits knees when rushing toward the front of the trail past hikers. Overall 10/10 from apparent dog perspective! Frankly many other dog parents are envious on the trail that he’s carrying his own supplies. Best kept secret is that with this backpack their dog wouldn’t notice carrying its own treats.
