These are maybe not the best stainless steel pet bowls you can get, but they're good quality, and will last years. Far easier to keep clean and smell-free than plastic.. I bought a few of these, as they're a good shape for cats. They're small - 14 cm top inside diameter (without rim), 11.5 cm bottom diameter and 2.5 cm deep, so you'll need at least 1 per cat. But they're big enough for a 100 g pouch (with room to mush it up) and an 80 g tin. As others have said, they're wide enough for cats' whiskers, and I find, for some reason, that these shallow bowls collect far fewer hairs compared to deeper bowls. 2 of my cats have long-ish coats with a fluffy undercoat, and their hairs get everywhere. With my old, deeper bowls, they'd have loads of hairs in them by the time they'd finished, with these, hardly any.. They can make some noise when cats eat, and don't have rubber on bottom, so are opposite of non-slip. The labels on the bottom were horrible to get off, too, but for me, advantages outweigh disadvantages - for multiple cats, these are ideal size, as don't take up too much room, but big enough for 1 cat to eat comfortably. Not sure I'd buy these for a puppy, unless a small breed, as I'd guess most puppies would end up pushing these around, but if you don't mind that (and a bit of noise), they'd be fine.
I’ve been buying these bowls for years. They are hard working, hygienic and wash up perfectly in the dishwasher. The main advantage is they stack so well, taking up so little space in dishwasher and cupboard.I’ve got about 60 of these bowls. They are virtually indestructible but I have had to replace a few, having left them on driveway and driven over them ,, 😂
