This is a really good product so far. I've had to make a few modifications because, even after I measured my Malamute's neck, the vest was about 2 in/ too small. Also, attempting to fit my Malamutes legs thru the openings when she's uber excited because we are hiking- well, its impossible. So I modified the hook from the chest to the neck by slicing the material that protects the hook. I used a carabineer the attach it all and so far so good. The vest has stayed on, once modified, thru thickets and wood, rivers, and trees. It is EXTREMELY visible and has come in handy on two occasions so far with vehicles in the woods :) I WISh they would just make these BIGGER for XXL breeds. My #120 Malamute doesn't even come close to fitting this vest in its largest form. It fits my #105 Mal with modifications. Fabric seems to keep her cool as I have tested in the sun, and her fur under the vest is cooler and non sweaty. I give it four outta five cause I need bigger!!!

Scout - 45lbs S/M vest
Very happy with this vest. Smart design, fits the dog well and stays in place while doggy runs around. Looks sturdy and this should be good for years. Our first vest, another orange vest that was cheaper and attached around the neck and under the belly with velcro, lasted about a year. The velcro lost much of it's strength and we spent too much time on the walk reattaching and straightening. The Ruffwear vest is a good value - it seems priced about right, all things considered. Thank you Ruffwear for designing and building a high quality product that goes beyond it's functional purpose. It's quality and thoughtfulness reflects how I feel about my dog and how I like to treat her.

Excellent quality! I wish I found it sooner
We have 3 very active dogs and every year we have to buy new high visibility vest because they like to run through the bushes and ruined their vest! But this is the first time they managed to keep their vest intact in one piece without any damage. The durability of its material is outstanding. It’s more expensive than similar vest in the market but you get what you pay for. We also bought harness and winter coat from the same brand.TriExcellent quality! I wish I found it sooner
