It’s definitely warm. We live in the south so I may need to find her a lighter blanket for indoor use but this is a super soft comfortable coat that fits her well. She weighs about 145 lbs. she has anxiety especially in bad weather and the blankets help. I liked this one because it will stay on her when she’s moving. It’s just a too warm for her in the house but would be great for outings when it’s really cold. I love the quality and definitely recommend. Ty

I had to purchase this multiple times for my two dogs in order to get the right sizes. For size reference, the Small fit my Pomeranian perfectly, and the X-Large fit my Boxer a little awkwardly, but still fit. Also, in case it helps, the XX-Large comes right off my brother's English Mastiff.
Beware of the sizing charts! Otherwise, great quality!

My Pomeranian loves it and he looks super cute in it, however (probably given that his coat is short), my boxer took a little adjusting. He likes to rub up against the wall because it feels foreign on him.
The quality is amazing, BUT if you are hoping the reflective strip will stay, know that it's starting to peel off after about 1 month.
Story of the sizing struggle:
I tried measuring my Boxer first and all of the measurements I took were contradictory. His length measured at a Large, Neck at an X-Large, and width XX-Large. I was torn as to which size to get (and I checked and double-checked the measurements). I decided to get an XX-Large thinking that the most important was for it to fit his chest and it was HUGE! I tried again by going two sizes down, but then it was too small. Long story short: do your research based on reviews to find the best fit for your pooch!

This is a well designed and well made canine garment. We purchased the large size in orange color. Wind and water resistant on one side with a plush orange-camo fleece liner on the reversible side. Heavy duty stitching all the way around looks like it will last a long time with proper garment care. Highly reflective striping and paw detail. Easily seen at night a quarter mile away. The coat fits far enough down the neck it doesn't interfere with collar and leashes. It does not interfere with him hiking or squatting to do any of his business. We took this dog in as a stray a month ago and soon realized he'll never produce a long/thick enough winter coat to keep warm when we're outside on cold or wet days, which is why we purchased this coat. So happy we did and will highly recommend the brand to all of our friends!
I read numerous reviews on this product to get an idea on sizing. I also referred to the sizing chart and measured our boxer mix as indicated. He fell right in the middle of all the measurements for the large size. He is about one year old and weighs 52 lbs with a mostly boxer build. This large fits him nicely, and will leave room for him to put on another 8-10 lbs. I strongly suggest going by the sizing chart and measuring your dog, as it seems quite accurate.
***UPDATE*** 4/10/18
We've been using a Embark Active Dog Harness, Easy On and Off with Front and Back Leash Attachment Points & Control Handle - No Pull Training, Size Adjustable and No Choke (Medium - Orange) in conjunction with the coat on cold and rainy days and they work great together! The orange colors even match!

Absolutely perfect! Sizing definitely fits as stated. I ordered a size up for my dog, and I definitely didn't need to!! She is swimming in it, and that's OK because I wanted to be able to put a couple extra dog sweaters underneath it for when it gets down to -30, mostly because she has a very short hair. She's a pitbull about 70 pounds so you can see how it fits her. This coat is well made, I am super impressed with the quality. The Velcro neck and belly strap is convenient.
