This is a quality jacket! I have been thinking about getting it for my shi/poodle/chi/mutt for the better part of a year, and took the plunge last week. She has long wiry hair, but it does not keep her warm. This jacket kept out the snow and wind nicely. It is a bit snug in the chest and in front of her legs, which caused her to not want to walk around at first. Once we got outside and hit the snow (we test-drove it during a blizzard last week), she was the wind! It didn't inhibit her movement, she just thought it did. Even though there's no lining, it trapped heat in and kept her warm. The rest of it fit perfect. I like the two-way zipper, because I can keep it zipped around her neck and pop it over her head, instead of unzipping the whole thing and having her step into it. I will order more products from this company!

Has been a great jacket for our silky terrier Rocky. The adjustment points around the neck and wasit really tailor the jacket for him. Also, the material, construction, and durability are top notch. The picture of the jacket's inside shows: adjustment cords for around the neck and waist, straps to go inside thigh, and leash hole if your dog has a harness. note: that is why the zipper is a little off center :)

This fits our 9-pound toy poodle perfectly. The water-repellent, breathable fabric, adjustable fit and fleece lining make this coat not only cute, but very functional. Generally, our dog is not going for walks on the sidewalk. He's going out in the woods to snowshoe and hike with us. This jacket keeps him warm and dry. I was hesitant to spend so much, but am very glad I did.

After trying out the Hurtta Cooling vest on my black labrador in the Summer and considering the fit and the quality of the garment, I made the decision to go for the Hurtta Frost Jacket. I live near to the sea and know that in the Winter it can get extremely cold walking along the beach in the early morning. Poppy the Labrador is the long legged variety (American or Field Lab) weighing it at approx 37 kilos so the jacket size I purchased was 65cm. Its a perfect fit on her. It has a zip along the back - so its very easy to get on - you simply put the front legs through the two arm holes, pull up the jacket and zip it up. The chest and part of the tummy of the dog is fully covered, therefore stopping sand, mud and wet from getting into the fur. It has a thin fleece within the jacket and a waterproof outer shell which comes high up around the neck. If your dog wears a harness, then there is a is an opening in the back of the jacket where you can still click the lead onto the harness. In addition, the material is totally silent and does not crackle when the dog moves. I have tried this out in a howling gale and rain and Poppy remained dry and warm for the duration of our walk (45 mins). I would highly recommend this Jacket - its well made, the fit is perfect and ultimately it keeps Poppy warm, dry and cosy, plus significantly reduces the amount of mud and sand that frequently collects on my very pale carpets!TraceyJUltimate Frost, Rain, Sleet and Snow Jacket for Labrador
