Great Little vest! Very happy with the quality of the product! However, sizing and fitting can be a bit confusing. We went to a retail pet store to size and fit our 6 year old female Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier/terrorist) before ordering on line. According to the size chart, an XS fits dogs 11 to 15 lbs with a girth of 15" to 19". Our dog is 13 lbs and has a girth of 16.5" The XS in the store fit perfectly, but the only colors in stock were orange and green. We wanted the hot pink because she is a girly girl, LOL! So we ordered the XS in the hot pink color on line. The XS arrived prompty, but was way too small. We contacted Amazon but we were told that we could not exchange the item for another size, only return it. So we contacted the manufacturer directly and asked about the difference in sizing and the slight design changes between the vest in the store and the one we purchased on line. We were told that the design had changed slightly and so did the sizing. The hot pink color was new as well. The retail store had older inventory. The XS in the retail store now is sized as a S in the new versions, with slight design changes and the added hot pink color. So when sizing a vest for your dog, make sure you try it on your dog in a retail store if possible or order one size up on line. We ended up with an orange vest from the retail store (at closeout pricing to make room for the new, arriving inventory) We are very happy with the design, the fit, quality of the vest and happy to know our dog will enjoy the water more with her vest on and we will be more at ease knowing she is more comfortable and will have more fun!
