Great jacket! Glad we can take our boys on walks in the winter
We bought 2 of these jackets for our boys this year. We live in a town that is very dog friendly so we like to go on long walks downtown. These jackets keep our dogs warm while also looking stylish enough for a day on the town. We bought bought a large for both dogs, one is a pitbull mix, and the other is a basset/Gordon setter/dachshund mix. One is about 70 lbs and the other is 50 lbs. I measured their chest around, as well as the length of their backs. If you do this and compare it to the size chart you should have no problem finding the perfect fit. Our dogs wear these with ease and they perform well in the snow. Great jacket!

I bought this coat about 3 winters ago for my sheltie mix. He weighs about 20 lbs. although it has. Slot where you can put a harness on first and then attach the leash through the coat I always put his harness on over his coat. I the photo you can also see his red sweater which is also a Kurgo peaking out. When it is very cold out he wears boath his sweater and the jacket. My dog can run and roll in the snow with complete freedom of movement. He was never a coat dog, but now that he is almost 14 years old he seems to appreciate the extra warmth.

It’s very good quality and very durable. The Velcro seems sturdy and you have a lot of room for adjustments. My girl is in between a small and medium. I opted for a medium. It’s a little big but not terrible. She will have enough coverage to keep her dry. She is 35 lbs and has a chest girth of 25 inches. The reflective material works well. Upon putting it on, I could already tell it was holding her heat in. The zippers are durable feeling and she seems comfortable. I would definitely recommend as the value is great for the amazing quality.

Son's bully came for an extended visit and needed a jacket for walks. It's hard to find something that fits his chest that isn't too long in the body, gets in the way of his boy-junk, or hangs too much over the sides. But this was perfect.
He weighs 60 lbs, neck is 21", chest is 28", body length is 20" so we got a Large. The part I was concerned about was if the neck hole would be big enough to go over his big head (22") and it was, just. I tried it on him right after the delivery came (he gets super excited for deliveries) and he didn't want me to take it off. He ended up sleeping in it and after he went outside this AM I tried to take it off again and he still didn't want me to.
Haven't full on rain tested it yet so not sure how it handles the water but it's sure to be better than a sweatshirt. Due to the type of material it's not stretchy. The wide duel velcro straps underneath make it easy to get it secure and comfortable. There isn't a lot of extra room in the chest area (where it isn't adjustable) but since he's still growing he'll need a new larger one at some point anyway and for now we're happy it fits this well
