- Reviewed in the United States on March 7, 2025Size: XSVerified PurchasePomchi and lab puppy love playing with these balls and making them squeak. They love when you make them squeak and then throw ball for them to chase. They also love when you hide the ball under a blanket or in a pocket etc, and make it squeak. They scratch and jump on blanket until they can find it (usually by you showing them a peek at the ball) lol.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2024Size: XSVerified PurchaseBought this for a new rescue dog, one year old. He loves them. I put 11 in a muffin pan with treats under them, and it keeps him occupied for an hour. When he is outside, he comes in to the squeaker in the tennis ball. He sleeps with them, takes them everywhere when he is afraid.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2016Size: XSVerified PurchaseWe thought these were the same ones we usually get (the 5 pack) from Target; with the red card & Cartwheel, the deals have been best compared to local pet stores. However these are more like the "Outlet" store version.
Pros:
More durable felt--out dogs can usually "skin" the Target version within a few hours of dedicated chewing even with a good amount of missing teeth at their senior ages.
Stiffer rubber--If you've got a strong jawed beasty, these ought to last a good long while.
Stronger squeaker retention--The Target version's squeaker is usually dislodged in the same amount of time as the felt (few hours of play). Very dangerous for the little ones and requires a keen awareness by the owner.
Cons:
Stiffer rubber-- For my older dogs this is a drawback and if given the choice, they always go for the softer Target version. These also don't squeak or bounce as easily because of the stiffness. Some of the second hands have a pronounced seam that sends them rolling at odd angles.
Poorer Quality Control--We purchased about 36 of these second hand balls and at least 12 of them at unusable for our Poms. We'll donate those to the local shelter for dogs with stronger jaws.
Overall, these were an okay purchase but we are sticking with the Target version despite the squeaker issue. Price is comparable so you'll need to decide which attributes are more appealing for your pooch.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2023I ordered the small size due to the fact Pablo weighs 5lbs with a full belly. 🤣 The balls are a perfect size for him. He can bite them on the side, not small enough to swallow but the perfect size to chase and bring back! The only draw back is that I have to dig them out from under the couch daily but ordering a few packs helped eliminate that as often! They are his favorite toys. He loves the squeak and bounce and it makes for fun 30 minute play times in between naps. When I loose these I’ll definitely buy more!!!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2024Size: XSVerified PurchaseOur new puppy has made the smallest Kong balls her go to toy.
She has a large basket filled with all kinds of playthings and her favorite is the simple ball.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2020Size: XSVerified PurchaseI have been buying these in x-small size for many many years because my pugs absolutely LOVE them. They are always much more expensive at places like Petsmart so I started buying them on Amazon a few years ago for $1.99 per 3 pack. They used to be made MUCH more durable and I usually only bought replacements due to losing them. However at some point Kong changed how they were made and the new type is ridiculously flimsy. Instead of having what was essentially a hollow but solid felt covered ball with a hole for the squeaker they now have 2 halves that are simply glued together under the felt. The result is that the ball getting wet from doggy spit, water, or even humidity will undo the glue and the 2 halves become uneven causing the ball to no long bounce and also fall apart more easily. If you have a pug you know that unlike most other dogs they simply do not have the jaw structure or bite force to easily destroy toys and balls. They CAN destroy them but it is always a result of time and effort. The fact that one of these balls ends up falling apart in less than 2 weeks while a flimsy dollar store stuffed animal lasts months is just plain ridiculous...
It is really a shame that they changed these balls as they are literally the ONLY ball my pug likes. I have tried numerous other brands of balls of the same size but they all have a solid inside and she will chase them, pick them up, then immediately drop them and give me a “what is this, where is the good ball mom” look. I guess she only likes balls she is able to squeak and chew on her way back to me because as soon as she realizes its not a Kong ball she completely ignores it...
Despite the quality I continued to buy these on Amazon for a while because for $2 it wasn’t really a big deal that they didn’t last long, however when the price went up to almost $7 I decided to look elsewhere for them. These are available at Chewy for $1.99 so that is where I buy them now.
Overall if you have a small dog that loves these Kong balls despite the low quality they are worth paying $1.99 for a 3 pack but CERTAINLY NOT worth the $7 Amazon is charging for them now!

5.0 out of 5 stars My dog loves these!
Size: SmallVerified PurchaseMy bichon frise loves his squeaky toys and tennis balls so I thought this was the perfect gift for him since it's both. The ball fits in his mouth perfectly and it's not so small that he can choke on it. He LOVES these balls and plays with them daily. It's been 3 weeks and the balls still don't have rips or holes. I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

Size: XSVerified PurchaseGrabbed the wrong size by accident - this is the super small size for puppies and teeny tiny dogs. Gifted it on instead of using it but the recipient was delighted.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mis perros, ¡Felices!
