Customers find the dog crate roomy enough for large breeds like Rottweilers and pitbulls, with one mentioning it holds a 75-pound boxer. The crate is easy to set up, folds down easily, and works well as a nighttime sleeping cage, with one customer noting it's perfect for traveling with large dogs. While some customers find it well-built, others describe it as cheaply constructed, though customers generally consider it good value for money.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2014I bought these as a one time purchase. I have three Rottweiler puppies and I did not want to have to buy crates in varying sizes as they grow up. This allowed me to build small "walls" to reduce the space on the interior for now and can be moved as they get bigger. I searched around locally and online for over 2 weeks and couldnt find anything in this size range for less than 100 dollars. These were everything I wanted and a great price.
That out of the way these things are tough. One of the pups is a digger and has tried to burrow through the hard rubber/plastic bottom but he hasn't even made a dent in it. The cages are heavy, not two person lift heavy, but enough to be uncomfortable. But they are exceptionally easy to set up. I bought three, and my wife, 9 year old daughter, and myself each set up one with none of us taking longer than 5 minutes.
We've had them for almost a month now and the only complaint I have is the door latching system sometimes gets hung up but if you operate the latches slowly its not a real issue. If you ever get in a hurry though you will be likely to bend one of the lock shafts.
Great product for the price.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2015I want to say first off, if you are looking for a crate that will contain a dog with separation anxiety, this crate is not for you! I would never have looked at this crate and thought it would be good for that. Just from looking you can tell these are thinner metal bars, not meant to stand up to a rough beating.
That being said.
I purchased this crate for my parents new dog, he was chewing apart the plastic tray and pulling at the sides of their previous crate because it was too small for him.
We purchased this crate so he would have plenty of room, and not feel as closed in. (this puppy was a rescue so I imagine spending time in a smaller crate made him anxious I imagine flash backs)
He has slightly pulled the door a little, but it was easy to bend back into place.
This crate is great for a dog that has been crate trained since being a puppy, because they are used to the experience, and do not freak out.
If you are wanting this to contain a more wild escapee dog, you need to look elsewhere
- Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2013It's a basic dog crate, with tray. Good value for the money for our use. Read the sizes very carefully as this is a LARGE crate suitable for very large dogs (like Saints), and it may not readily fit just anywhere in your home as a result. After use, I find I could have gone with a size smaller for my largish Samoyed, and he'd still have plenty of room, but I decided to keep it anyway. The crate collapses easily enough for transportation and storage, and has a carry handle. This crate would be more versatile, if it had a side door, but it is advertised as having only one door, so that's not a defect. The tray is fairly light-weight plastic, so it's too early to tell how well it will stand up to a large dog or one prone to chewing.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2014We purchased this for our cat after he had surgery and needed a place to recover. This cage is big enough to hold a litter box, a water dispenser, and a large blanket. Since the poor guy had a cone around his neck for over two weeks, he appreciated a place he could feel safe. The unit is manufactured well and completely amazed me at how quickly it could be set up. Once you get the hang of it you can put it up in under a minute! They've really perfected how easily this thing can snap together. Taking it apart is just as easy, but I would recommend wearing gloves when you do it because the metal can rebound and bruise your fingers. It is pretty big even when folded and some folks might have trouble moving it around - the snap-on plastic handle helps when moving it around or getting it back into the box for storage. In all, well made, easy to use, and highly recommended.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 24, 2013My dog is pretty large and I honestly worried he wouldn't fit. He is a Black Lab/Weimaraner mix. He is the size of the Weimaraner with mostly the looks of a Black Lab. He fit just fine. He is also a whiney little dude and claws at the doors, which is why we got this - so he wasn't destroying the house when we were not around. It's not very sturdy at all. The bars seem very, very weak. He has yet to just topple it over, though. He is a dog that really loves to den, so perhaps that is why?
It assembles easy enough though. He enjoys it, and spends most of the day in there (not locked in, he just LOVES to den), the rest of his time is spent outside or under my desk.
If your dog loves to den and isn't extremely destructive or determined to leave confined spaces, it would probably be perfect for you, too.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2014My friend gave me her Great Dane (6mo) because of some complications. My husband and I took her in without having a kennel so we put her in the bathroom when we had to leave the house (If she didn't go in the bathroom, she would have tore the house up.) I forget how much her mother weighed but her father weighs well over 300 lbs. I've never had a big dog and wasn't sure what to buy. This product was AMAZING! It's not too small and it has enough room for my puppy to grow. She loves it too, she randomly goes in and sleeps in it (with her blanky of course).
- Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2013I purchased two of these for my dogs. They arrived in horribly battered boxes... Amazon did not repackage them, they simply placed a label on the outside of the package, and it held up terribly. Further, these are cheap, poorly made crates that I would not subject a living creature to. The wire is thin, the doors don't close properly, and there are design flaws like the big clip leaning in to scratch the dog. I don't know if these other reviewers actually purchased this product or if they are paid fakes by the manufacturers, but I would not put a living creature inside this. I am returning, at Amazon's expense. Someone within Amazon needs to look at this product and ask themselves if this is really the standard people have come to expect. Seriously? They aren't even that much less expensive!

5.0 out of 5 stars My dog like 's her crate works quite well
This crate us quite big! My dog like 's her crate works quite well
- Emily BaxterReviewed in Canada on December 22, 2013
3.0 out of 5 stars Good size, kennel itself is great but latches don't last
Overall - decent, but don't count on the latches to keep your dog put.
We've had this kennel for 2 months - it arrived broken from shipping (bottom latch had fallen off) but as we were adopting our dog the next day, we kept it as is.
After about 1 month the middle latch started failing - it still shuts, but can slide out - you don't need to lift up - slide - put down to secure anymore.
The top latch failed this week - our 9 mth old pup has happily greeted us at the door 3 times in a row. We'll keep using the crate, but use carabiner clips to secure.
Overall - get it on sale and it's still worth the money, but don't trust the latches!

- NadineReviewed in Canada on November 13, 2013
3.0 out of 5 stars It had it's good qualities and bad.
I found this product a challenge setting up. Once it was set up, I found it big enough for both my dogs, which I am quite happy about. The only downfall I have with this product, is that I find I have to lift the door a little to lock the top latch. Either than that, it is definitely worth the money for a fixed income.
