These worded, embroidered, brightly colored dog awareness products are designed with safety in mind to aid yourself, other dog walkers, adults and children from a distance with what type of nature/temperament of the dog that is approaching them.     We got this for our lab/mastiff that we fostered. It fit perfectly, and looked very nice on his black fur. The yellow was eye-catching, and it did lay nice and flat, to allow the words to be seen. He was adopted two weeks after we got this, so we didn't get to try it out at the dog park, just a few walks.     No success in adopting out our foster yet, but love that when we take him in public, we can advertise that he's up for adoption. Fingers crossed! Although he's a medium sized dog the bandana velcro area is pretty long. We just have to tighten it all the way for it to fit him.
    Please rescue instead of going through breeders. Rescue dogs deserve a second chance and a forever home!

    Overall, this is a great product to use if you volunteer with an animal rescue group. I got this for my little foster Yorkie and it's way too big for his little neck so I have to safety pin it to his collar. But the bright yellow makes it stand out so people can see him. The material seems durable and should stand up to washing. It's disgustingly overpriced for what it is, but a great product for rescues.

The stitching is VERY CLOSE to the TOP of the bandana- so as the dog walks and moves the bandana folds and covers the words...and what's the point in just having them what a yellow bandana? The item is nicely made and the Velcro strap is easy to use and strong- but I def wouldn't buy this again b/c of where the lettering is placed. It's also more expensive than other similar products.
