    Girth is the diameter of an object. Circumference is the distance around an object. The dimensions are not for the Girth. Who measures "girth" except those in the adult film business? C'mon people.

    I took a guess that this was the issue with other people's reviews and was correct. I ordered a Large for my 15lb super athletic Maine Coon half-breed monster guard-cat. Fit perfectly. Would be easier to put on a pet if it was velcro in the front or just had a chest strap. The back is a little longer than the front. The Security wording is a simple iron-on and I can see this fraying and cracking pretty quickly.

    Regardless, it is what it is, looks the part, seems warm, arrived quickly, and fit per MY instructions on using those measurements as Circumference. Therefore I deduct one star due to misleading information.
