Wonderful enclosure, I have a few but needed another x-large for my 3 new baby rescues, they are in heaven, it’s well built, they will collapse on the top so I put a tall cat condo in and works like a charm. I love these as they are great for kittens and this is the 61x61inch. I can crawl inside to clean or play with the babies, Highly recommend 🐾❤️🐾

My boyfriend and I adopted a former show dog from Seaworld 2 months ago. He is crate trained but unfortunately he didn’t want to go in the crate at night time. Apparently while he performed at Pets Ahoy he willingly ran in his crate in between show. I know it’s an adjustment for him and I’ll always be patient with him. Unfortunately he gave us no choice but to pick him up and place him in front of the crate to walk in every night. The only time he will run in there eagerly was when we fed him in his crate. I was also working on crate training exercises with him to show it’s a positive space.
So I started looking online for options on how I can get him to go into the crate willingly. And so when I looked into getting a play pen for him I saw a reviews on how their dogs preferred this over a crate. And also some saying their dogs managed to get their way out. Knowing my dog, I bought it in confidence because of his calm personality. And also when I can go back to work again and boyfriend can travel for work, him having this bigger space would be nice.
Once it arrived we set it up for him. We put two dogs beds in there to make it comfortable for him. I also introduced him to the play pen by feeding him treats in there. Surprisingly on night one, he went in there willingly on his own without us telling him to when we retired for the night. My boyfriend wasn’t confident yet because he said this could only happen once. But he proved him wrong and our sweet dog continues to go in there on his own before we retire. Thinking about it now, he had two roommates he shared the space with while he performed at the show the last couple of years. I think having this much space compared to a crate is comfortable for him because he’s used to it. It’s just my speculation and I could be wrong. But it makes sense to me! I highly recommend this or any play pen you find if you are a dog owner looking for another option when it comes to their bed time. I do leave the crate next to the play pen for if he decides he wants to be in a smaller space.
My dog is 14 pounds and the 45” & 61 is a good fit. It’s pretty spacious!
