This really is a lovely little coat! I ordered an xsmall for my almost 3 lb maltipoo and it fits well enough to keep but is quite roomy for an xsmall. The size chart on this one is a little inaccurate and it runs large. My dog is 9 inches from neck to tail and 11 inches around the chest, the coat is 9 1/2 in long from the base of the collar to the bottom of the hem. The coat circumference is 15 1/2 from snaps to snaps. It is very well made and very expensive looking but is unlined. If you need a slightly smaller coat I would recommend the polka dot Fitwarm coat. It runs smaller (the xsmall fits my 3 lb narrow bodied teacup dog as if made for her), is fleece lined (but is still a lightweight coat) and is absolutely adorable, it looks light brown in the product pic but it is actually a light mauve color with a pale pink bow on the hood and cream fleece lining.

Too Adorable for Words
I never write reviews but simply had to for this item because it is too cute for words. This little woolen coat is stunning with its embellishments of buttons, belt and faux fur collar. It’s very well made and a great value for the price. I ordered a medium and the fit was perfect on my 8-1/2 lb Coton de Tulear who has a long back and short legs. The snap front closure makes it easy to put on and take off. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

I’m so in love with this coat. Everyone wants to know where we got it and everyone comments how beautiful Bella looks in it. True to size fit, she is 6 pounds, it’s a little big but the belt is adjustable plus there is room for her harness. There is no hole for the harness leash but the neckline is low enough that it still works. Elegant, gorgeous, worth the money.

It's so adorable this is the third coat I have bought from this company the other two I got in a size large and this one is a medium so fits her just right but if she waited one more pound it would not fit her she is a 11 pound Chihuahua I might get this one to my 8 pound Yorky and order another one in a size bigger for Lexi I ordered a size smaller because the reviews said it ran small it is adorable
