This fits great for a very tiny dog. The first day he was a little stiff legged in it, but shortly was able to run and frisk as usual. Sturdy. Attractive. Washes fine in machine.
Goody small dog coats, vests and shirts are sized for toy dogs. The only way to tell if a certain garment will fit is to try it on.
The Velcro tends to gather stuff which can be picked off.
The hood rooks very nicely and flat into the collar. My tiny dog really likes wearing his coat.
He can wear it over the Gooby fleece vest or on its own.
My only complaint is that there is nothing in between XS and S, and between S and M.
Some of my dogs really are in between. There is not a lot of adjustability.
I am going to try the bomber jacket with the stretchy chest area.
Be alert for great sales in Gooby via Add-on; the reductions are real.
Addendum; have purchased 2 more of this style over the past year - - a MEDIUM in pink and black for a large pregnant Chihuahua - well over 10 pounds with the big belly, and now one in all black for a tall thin male. It is super sophisticated looking. Since he is thinner, he really does need a liner sweater underneath. The Gooby products are excellent - and they last and last when treated well. I have used a less costly black sweatshirt by another maker for underneath dwear. Also a Gooby fleece sweater and Gooby vest. O
