I got this martingale chain choke for my husky in M, my big brown lab in L and the newest edition, a mini aussie, in XS.
My husky has always used this collar- it isonly new to the lab and aussie -- so it is tried and true well worth it !
they took awhile to come in due to a delay - but these things are perfection.
martingale collar is the best ! the chain does not matt the hair and it also does not discolor my huskies white chest.
My crew is all stylin in triple chain collars. NEXT STEP -- make them in gold lol

This collar seems great for what I bought it for. I bought a Medium for my dog with a 19 inch neck and it fits perfect. The double chains are tacked together at certain points along the diameter so it acts as one chain and the chains do not over lap because of this which is nice. I bought this collar for when someone comes over the house, or going on a quick car ride as my dog normally will not wear a collar at home. It slips on easy, the choker works great and it does not feel chintzy at all for the thickness it is. I bought this one because other people said it lasted longer than others. While all this being said I would NEVER depend on this collar while walking this 80lb biological machine. I’ve had a 50lb Boxer break through a metal collar thicker than this. This Boxer is so strong if he wanted to he would break it with half his strength. So like I said it deserves 5 stars for what I got it for. But know it’s limits, and your dogs potential.

Originally bought one in 2018 and was thrilled with it. When my 150# mastiff finally broke with a sudden lunge my 1st thought was to order the same thing again. The new one I received after ordering from the EXACT same listing was quite inferior. I believe I received the correct size but the weight of the chain in the collar and the connection of the twin chains making up the collar was a huge disappointment. I have pictured the one I received next to the 5.5 yr old one he finally broke.

My guy gets 'hot spots' from his collar because they are both too small and the fabric holds moisture against his fur and skin. He was trained using a martingale collar and I love it. This one doesn't hold moisture, is loose and comfortable for him for daily wear, slips on and off easily but still cinches tight enough for training. It is not adjustable so it is important to know just what size your pup needs. Mine too often the largest available is still too small, I was so happy to find it was a right fit. :-)
