Hold plenty of water for my needs, and they are not easy to tip over. I did take the rubber off the bottom since the rabbits would just chew it up anyway. Good quality, and a good price. They are cute and do what they are advertised to do. The bone on the front reminds me of something from Disney and they work great. They are dirty though from being stacked on each other in the warehouse or something. (I saw a review complaining about that) You can just clean it with soap and water, and who doesnt clean things you eat off of when you get them? Couldn't be me 🙄 anyways if you want some pretty good bowls for your pups then I would recommend, just make sure you clean them before use and don't leave stainless steel in the sun if you are using it for a water bowl. 😉

I was worried at first. Would my Golden Retriever and my Border Collie accept these replacement bowls? Would they find the bright, shiny finish distracting? Would they think the little bone on the side was a bit too cliche and perhaps a little tacky? The big moment arrived...time to present their dinner in their new bowls. I placed the bowls on the floor and stepped back to nervously watch their reaction. Voila! They acted like nothing was different. The scarfed down their kibble without a second thought and calmly walked away to resume their "taking up space" duties. And then it hit me...my dogs would be happy if I put their food on a dirty piece of cardboard. Oh well, I'm still happy with my purchase and I don't give a damn what those dogs think.

These are nice dog bowls. At 24 ounces, they are designed for big dogs. I overlooked that when I bought them but decided to keep them as the deeper bowls prevent our dog from dropping food on the floor. The bowls are very easy to clean and its very easy to see dried food that is stuck on the surface of the bowl. The bowls are light-weight and the stainless steel is thin. While we haven't bent or dented the bowls, the bowls occasionally sound as if they are bending (they are not) when we wash them (by hand). The bowls have a rubber runner on the bottom of the bowl to inhibit the bowl from moving while our dog is eating. I've found that these runners can come off which I'm hand washing them but they are easy to reinstall. I haven't washed in the dishwasher as I fear that they might come off during the wash.

I will still use the 1st set outdoors and cherish and take better care of my second set. The bowls are heavy, sturdy, do not dent, rust, discolor - perfect. I have bowls similar to this for our 1 year old puppy. I wanted something that looked different so I could tell their bowls apart and I fell for the cute dog bone on the front. The pros are it looks just like the photo and they do not tip or spill. What I don't like is the black coloring I see on the paper towel when I wipe it out. It only happens on the bowl that holds the food - not the water. So I am wondering if it is because food has oil and maybe that is having a reaction with the metal? I don't know but it makes me a bit leery about what my puppy might be getting in his system.

He's now about 12 pounds at 3 months age so they should be perfect for him through adulthood. So far they seem durable and easy to clean. The rubber ring around the base keeps the bowl from sliding around on the kitchen floor and the wide base prevents tipping. The little brass-colored bones are cute and attached firmly. They can be removed with use of a simple prying tool if desired.
