Great Balance of Quality and Price
****UPDATE 8/6/16**** See picture posted. Cat has figured out how to knock the rotating lid off. *Sigh* It's also a today pain in the butt to program. Spend the extra money and get one that's worthwhile instead of wasting your money on this one. If your animal is even semi-intelligent, they'll figure it out. I spent quite a few days online reading reviews on Amazon, googling, YouTubing, etcetera to find the "right" automatic feeder for my Bengal kitty. I was looking for a balance of quality and price. I found it with Flexzion. For $40, I was able to go away for the holiday weekend without fear of my food loving kitty eating all of his food in one day, subsequently "starving" himself for the remaining days. I'll admit, it was a little difficult for me to understand how to set it up. That's what the four stars are for. I ended up YouTubing a how to video to figure it out. The only issue I've had is figuring out how to get the cover to rotate along with the feeder. Customer service emailed me for feedback - so hopefully that'll be figured out shortly. All in all, it's a great product, and for $40 you really can't beat the quality. My kitty is pretty smart and he wasn't able to tip it over or get to the food until it was time for it to rotate. The only thing I wish it had was a plug in for the wall - I don't like having to rely strictly on batteries - but there is a "low battery" indicator on the feeder

First night the top was torn off and all the food for 4 days was eaten. After reassembly the timer became several hours off. Only worked like advertised for the first time then never worked right again.

We have an overweight cat thats needs small portions of food at certain times. This works perfectly for her! I know it says for dogs, but it works just as great for cats too! She gets very excited when her tummy clock tells her it is time to eat. She goes over and waits for it to be ready! This is an easy way to do portion control food for critters when you do not have a lot of time! I purchased these at a discount so I could leave an honest review.

It works fine and it's easy to program. The only reason why I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the recorded message sounds so low my dog can barely hear it.

Works great, only thing I would improve would be the volume, it could be louder. Overall, exceeded my expectations.

I tested first, and the feeder opened properly and at the designated times. Then I put food in and at the next scheduled feeding time the bowl became misaligned so part of the next compartment was showing.
    Pros:
    - there is an on/off switch so it is not rotating unnecessarily when not needed
    - timer & feedings are not difficult to set up
    - 4 slot feeder that allows for ALL FOUR meals to be programmed (not 1 available immediately and only 3 that can be scheduled for future)
    - compartment sizes are generous; not all pets want to put their heads into small, deep spaces that many feeders have
    Cons:
    - the cover that moves out of the way for the first feeding is flimsy and tricky to secure; the design leaves something to be desired
    - fitting all of the pieces together correctly requires concentration & is a tad annoying
    - biggest con is that all of the "pros" don't matter if it doesn't work properly, and misaligned bowls on the fourth 'turn' is definitely not helpful
    - voice record feature did not work; would only play a 1 second "shh" noise and I did follow the directions and tried several times
My pet is not well and needs to eat approximately every 4 hours; fortunately I was still testing this when it did not open properly. I was really disappointed that this did not work; it has some features that are important to me.
