Using this under a litter box for a cat that keeps "missing" through the box opening... Great quality, easy to clean up messes, does not retain odors after being cleaned. Much better value for my needs than another item I bought that was made for litter boxes, cost twice as much, and does retain odors even after cleaning. We have elevated the box on a home-made shelf so that it does not sit directly on the mat, that way nothing gets on the bottom of the litter box and only the mat needs to be cleaned. Have tried several other solutions, this is the best one.
