Direction Spray directly onto skin and onto the surrounding area. Allow to air dry on skin. If needed cover skin with a nonstick dressing. Repeat procedure as necessary or once a day. Administer recommended amount once daily for two weeks.     My dog would rather starve herself than eat anything that doesn't meet her standards. She has literally gone a week refusing food. This kept her "surviving" until I finally found something she'd eat (raw). I did have to force feed it (I blame my " special" dog for this not the product) but, it was relatively easy if you use a syringe. You just suck out the recommended amount, as the tips on most syringes fit nicely in the small opening & have measurement markings (you may have to simultaneously squeeze the bottle a little) then you can use the same syringe to administer the supplement directly in your pets mouth. If your dog is like mine I recommend administering it little by little & towards the back of the mouth so they don't manage to spit it out. The syringe tip fits nicely between teeth for pets that refuse to open their mouths, just lift the lip. It is messy when it gets in their hair/fur, especially long haired dogs like mine, so be careful.

    Note: if you have a picky dog or one that's not eating well or just needs to gain weight, I recommend you search for satin balls on the internet, they have been a miracle for us (inexpensive & easy to make).

    My darling Siberian Husky is a finicky puppy. One of the few dogs noted for sticking her nose up at even real meat. When she isn't feeling well, she just doesn't want to eat, and getting calories in her can be challenging. If she isn't willing to eat, you can put the bite of food in her mouth, hold her mouth closed for 10 minutes, and ten minutes later, she'll spit the food out on the floor. Frustrating to say the least.
    When she lost weight after a recent illness, I was desperate to make sure that she was getting the vitamins and calories that she needed. She fell in love with the vitamin paste instantly, licking it off my finger over and over again. When it was squirted on her dog food, and stirred, she proceeded to eat the entire bowl of dog food. Suddenly, the "will-to-live" and "thrive" appeared in her eyes again.

    In the past I have used the high calorie version which is what I really wanted. Very disappointed to find this now has to be imported from the US with the attendant cost. However the vitamin paste did a great job with my 15 year old pekingese who suddenly stopped eating. He had had full blood work done before a full dental so we knew his health was excellent. However, the dental procedure didn't solve the eating issue. I syringe fed him with 15 ml daily of the paste (he hated it!) for 3 1/2 weeks). He had nothing else other than water. Fortunately he was still drinking voluntarily. Now he is back to normal apart from a small weight loss which he is rapidly regaining since I have put him on a higher calorie food. Why my vets don't know about or don't recommend this I cannot understand. Thank you, Excel - but please bring back the High Calorie paste!
