I am blind now, but I can still see the scene so clearly, blood everywhere. It started as a joyous occasion, since my cat pirate costume came in the mail that fateful day. I leapt with joy as I called my cat, Veggie in. She sneered at me, but since this happens on a regular basis, I let that go. As I tried to put the cute hat on, she scratched and bit my arm. I knew I would be fine, her last rabies shot was in June of 2008, a fine date. But anyway, as I was putting on the actual costume for her, she full on attacked me, she started clawing at my face. After the four minute mark of her clawing and tearing apart my face, I began to lose all sense of reality, and blacked out. I woke up about ten hours later, I have been drugged by my cat! The cute little pirate costume was gone, my vision was blurred, but relatively fine at this point. I rushed to the kitchen, as I smelled something was burning. It was the costume!!!! And right next to the thick black smoke was Veggie, sitting on the counter, smug as can be. I was about to save the costume from the burning mess, but veggie had splashed bleach into my eyes, she also slit my wrists and threw razors at me. The last thing I ever saw, was taking my hands away from my face and seeing blood. At that point, since I was losing blood very rapidly, I had fainted again. I woke up in the hospital 10 days later, my beloved cat had run away, and I couldn't see anything. But a few months ago, I got my seeing eye dog, and he's awesome. But from now on, I will never buy costumes for animals again. This wasn't a favorable experience. 2 out of 5 stars.
