She isn't super tiny so I was skeptical and thought I'd have to send it back when I got it, figuring she'd be busting out of it. WRONG! The staps under the belly are pretty long, so it's actually got more than enough room. Could almost have even got her a smaller size, if it was made.If you have a dog smaller than a shih tzu, like a tea cup size dog, they will be swimming in a xsmall.Otherwise, these are great vests, and I highly recommend.

 Bought another one for my tripod because we started doing 5am walks and he's dark brown. This dog likes to find frosty or dewy grass to roll in (see pics)... every single day. My other dog has the orange one and that has survived galavanting in the woods like the feral children they are.

I have two Aussie mix breeds that wear these jackets hiking, in the woods, and in the rain and I love them. I can always see them when they are running in the forest off leash and when it is raining their main back fur never gets wet so it is less to towel off. When we are walking around the neighborhood in the winter months the jackets are highly reflective in the dark. So long as your dog likes to or is willing to wear a coat these jackets are great!

I bought this a month or so ago because my dog is brown/grey brindle and literally impossible to see when she is in the trees/brush in our backyard, especially in the fall and winter. I have lost her in the yard when she is just sitting motionless in front of a tree trunk, she is that camouflaged. I bought this vest so that we could easily look out the back window when she is playing to make sure she is still in the fenced-in yard. I was worried that only velcro would not hold up to her rompings in the brush, but the other day while her collar got stuck on a branch and she pulled out of it, the vest stayed on tight. It is comfortable enough that she doesn't mind wearing it, which I was also worried about because she is terrified of random objects. Just this morning she managed to get out of the yard and I was able to spot her on the other side of the privacy fence through the slots because she was wearing this vest. It meant the difference between hours of searching and having her back inside almost immediately. Thankfully we did not have to test how visible it makes her to oncoming traffic, but I have no doubt that if she had gotten into the street this would save her life, day or night. It is very easy to see in the daylight, and there are plenty of reflective strips that are very visible from all angles at night, regardless of the abuse it has taken the last month and the amount of dirt it has acquired. I do not normally go to the trouble of rating my Amazon purchases (shame on me), but in this case I wanted to share how well this has served our family.

I bought this vest so that my dog would be highly visible running around our farm. We have lots of wildlife and among that are a population of coyotes. From a long distance, she can appear as such and has been in a scope briefly. Fortunately, the person saw her collar. I want there to be no mistake in the future and this vest does the job well.
The material and construction seems to be solid. The sizing is spot on. The color and reflection are better then expected.
I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Got this for my dog for walking in the evenings over the next few darker months. It looks great and feels very well made. I haven't tried washing it yet so I can't say how it stands up to that.

My dog would have been fine with a medium based on his measurements. Due to some reviews that said to order up a size I decided to get the large worried it wouldn't fit. The large is definitely too big but I this I can stick or sew on some velcro and it'll be fine. I think this will fit perfectly over his winter coat too without being too tight!

Love these jackets, had them 2 years now. They're well used but every time they're washed they come up like new.

They've saved my dogs lifes a few times when they've wondered off the yard in the dark. Cars can easily see them as they reflect like a Christmas Tree!
