I just received this harness (purple) in the mail and fitted it onto my Pomeranian/Pug/Yorkie/Min. Schnauzer mix (10 pounds). It looks very nice and sturdy, and the purple color looks great on my blonde female dog. The reason I bought it is that, when she wants attention, I can lift her up from the floor when I'm sitting on a stool in the kitchen. She's just too heavy to lift her up only by the collar -- (the 7-pound dogs I've had in the past could be lifted up by the color without a problem.) I got the small, and it fits just perfectly on the largest adjustment. For now, I'm going to leave her small collar on as well because I will probably take this harness off at night when I put on her nighttime coat (it's cold here). Otherwise, it'll be on her all the time.

    I bought this for my cat who is probably around 9 lbs. The neck portion is a bit loose on her as it is meant for a dog, but she can't slip out of it or anything, because the adjustable portion is fit to her. The loose neck actually makes it really easy to slip on her. It is soft and light and she seems comfortable with it on and doesn't try to chew at it like she has with another harness I had that was made of all nylon rope like the adjustable portion on this one. I think it makes her feel safe when she's on a leash. The color is adorable and the silver lining on the sides is reflective.

    I love this harness although I had to return it as it was too small for my miniature pinscher. I sent it back and ordered a medium which fits around her middle better but is too large around her neck. The neck is not adjustable but I am going to keep it and use as a back up.
