Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

My tiny 8lb chihuahua chewed a huge hole in the plastic within a matter of a few hours. The plastic used is cheap and thin and I have not found the pieces of plastic. I pray that they went under furniture and that he did not swallow anything that will harm him.
As far as this type of product goes, it is pretty good. My pup uses it when she is confined to a room with a hard floor, but not when she is in a carpeted area. That's too bad, but it is not the fault of the product. Some people seem to be trying to use this without a pee pad and I don't think that is the intended use. They talk about pee pooling in the grated area, if you put a pee pad under the grate, it should pull it down away from the grate. I put the pee pad above the grate and use the outer frame to hold it in place. It works just fine. If this doesn't work for your dog, no other product of this type is going to work either. You must follow normal training, ex...place dog in confined area where they only have room for their bed and the tray. They typically won't potty where they sleep, so they will be forced to use the tray. Once they are using it regularly, you expand the area they to which they are confined. Eventually, they should go looking for their place to potty. But you must do this one step at a time. Otherwise you are setting your pet up for failure.
This is a good and sturdy trainer pan, but my dog has not used. I still have to place outside the pan for her to use. I still keep a pad in the pan in hopes she will start using.
It didn't work for us. I returned it for reimbursement but I only received about half of my purchase price even though I was notified I would be fully reimbursed. Can you check on this for me? Thank you!

Great potty tray. I put a pee pad in between the grid and top locking plastic rim (which is what I thought you were suppose to do but based on the reviews of others it seems that is not the common practice ???). It prevents my pup from chewing and playing with the pads and clean up is super easy - just pop the locking rim off and replace the used pad with a clean one and put the locking rim back on. It works great for us.
