    We have bought Kong products and have always been satisfied with them.

    However, I would not recommend this item for any dog other than a small puppy as our 9 month old Boston terrier/Cavalier mix destroyed it in a few days. We found her chewing on a piece of the "bone" which could have ended badly. Not the toy that was a fault, but it's simply too soft for any dog other than a puppy.

    Our dog is restricted to a certain dry food. He usually eats it just fine, but sometimes, to entice him to start eating, he seems to think he is getting a treat if I put the food in this 'toy'. He eats it right up and then goes to his bowl and eats his dinner. My mistake, though, is that sometimes, he sits and waits for me to load up his blue bone before he will eat from his bowl! Also, sometimes, he takes it out through the doggy door and enjoys it on the lawn. Of course, he never brings it in!
