Product Description

Lupine products are proudly built in Conway, New Hampshire and Guaranteed (Even if Chewed). They are not chew-proof (no fabric is!) but if they get chewed, LupinePet will replace them. Search on ‘Lupine Guarantee’ to see how EZ it is!
1-inch-wide leashes are suitable for medium and larger dogs. They are available in three lengths: 6-foot; 4-foot; 2-foot. Shorter leashes keep the dog closer. Consider the distance from your hand to the dog’s collar when choosing a length. A leash can always be shortened by holding it closer to the dog.
Lupine Originals are made from woven nylon in an array of colorful designs. The pattern is woven into the webbing, rather than printed or sewn on. Made with strong bar-tack stitching, welded steel hardware, and ends are turned under and stitched to protect fur and skin.
Matching collars and harnesses are available.
Machine or hand-wash, warm water and mild soap (no bleach or bleach alternative). Air dry completely before use
Lupine products are not intended for tie-out.

I purchased our first Lupine product 15 years ago. It’s still perfect! I used the set everyday. I washed it and put it away after we put our Bugg (Boston /pug) down. We needed a new little girl to love this time a pug and I had to get her her own set upgraded the clip on the leash is better. I tried other brands for harnesses the quality wasn’t there. Im telling you how great our set looked after 15 year you wouldn’t think it was that old .

If you have a dog that chews, Lupine leads are a must. Three days after receiving my order from Amazon, my 1-year-old English Setter mix chewed straight through this lead. After realizing what she had done, I sent the chewed lead to Lupine and received a new lead free of charge within three days. She's on her second lead now and is doing much better with the nervous-chewing issue but I can rest assured that if she does chew through this one, Lupine will replace it quickly, free of charge, and with no questions asked.
This is one of the best leads I have ever owned (and I've owned quite a few), hands down. The handle is comfortable- the padding makes it easy for me to hold it with no burns or bruises from plastic or nylon handles which is a first. It is easy to slip onto a harness, even in cold weather and the lead itself seems to be made from quality materials. I also love the print, even if it is a little girly.
Bottom line, buy this lead, especially if you have a dog who likes to chew.

This is a great leash. 6 foot length is perfect, and I picked the 3/4" width to match the width of the collar from the same seller. Note that the pattern is only printed on one side, the other side is solid pink. I guess if I looked more closely at the picture I would have seen that. The clasp mechanism is a little awkward, but I'm getting used to it. You push the button on the latch away from you instead of toward you, which can create a little bit of slack, so you have to unclick and unhook in one smooth motion toward the dog.
