Awesome to see my baby able to put both her feet on the ground again walk. Received very quick. Worth the $. Bought 2 sets because Memphis winters are so wet. Totally satisfied.
I read some reviews stating it helps with ACL tears. It does NOT! This works on the dogs ankle. Please notice the ACL is the joint above the top of this brace. That said, it does fit my little Golden just right. Follow the directions. Don't put it on too snug, and don't leave it on for hours. It's a well-made little ankle support
Great price and effective for a long legged dog. This device would have worked if my dog's leg had been longer but because it was not, the Velcro closing did not fit around the width of her thigh so as to hold in place.
The product arrived on time and performs as expected. It does help support weak legs. However the Velcro covers most of the surface. While it makes for easy adjustment, it is no ideal for dogs with long hair. The hair catches in the Velcro and makes removing the braces difficult. Also, our dog tends to cross his rear legs under his body when walking. A few times, the Velcro caused the two braces to stick together. I covered the unused Velcro with cloth tape to eliminate this problem.
They aren't stiff enough to really help and my dog slipped them off pretty quickly. They just lay around now. Pretty much a waste of money for me. Not to say they wouldn't be better for maybe a dog with larger legs.
This brace has really helped our dog with her injured hind leg. Even though she didn't like it at first she now gladly lets us put it on her each morning and we remove it at night . Product is fair priced and comes with two braces in package, quality is very good also and the velco grips tightly. Must be on firmly but not overly tight which leads to discomfort and slippage. If you have looked into the costs of surgical repair the cost is very high and this helps instantly without rehab time.
Very good braces for the price you pay - make sure to keep them away from moisture because of mildew and I suggest replacing them every year (because they get worn out).
The product itself is a good product, however the seller does not give accurate info for sizing. I needed a 7 inch top circumference which the seller said was a medium. It will not close. I had to strap the two together to make one that would fit. I went to the Ortocanis.com site and they say the medium top circumference is 6.7 inches. That 0.3 inches makes a difference. I needed a large. Had I needed two wraps to cover both hind legs, I would be out of luck.
